Safety is considered throughout every stage of product development—from design and material selection to testing, production, and final inspection. Our goal is to create products that are safe, durable, and made to be enjoyed for years to come.

Thoughtful Design

Safety begins during the design process. Materials, construction methods, and character details are carefully evaluated to support both durability and child safety. Every product is designed with quality, functionality, and age-appropriate use in mind.

Independent Testing

Plush toys are tested by accredited third-party laboratories and comply with applicable U.S. and Canadian toy safety standards, including:

• Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act (CPSIA)
• ASTM F963 Toy Safety Standard
• Canada Toys Regulations (SOR/2011-17)

Testing includes evaluation of applicable requirements such as physical and mechanical safety, lead content, phthalates, flammability, and other regulatory standards for children's products.

Manufacturing & Quality Control

We work closely with our manufacturing partners to maintain consistent quality and safety standards throughout production. Products are reviewed for construction, labeling, workmanship, and overall quality before shipment.

In addition, each production run includes tracking information to support product traceability and regulatory compliance.

Product Safety Information

While our plush toys have passed applicable safety testing, we recommend gentle play and parental supervision for children ages 5 and under to help preserve detailed character features, including Bumble Pea's felt antennae.

Bumble Pea plush contains internal plastic pellets for weight and stability.

If any component becomes loose or detached during use, it may present a choking hazard and should be immediately removed from use.

Please inspect products periodically for signs of wear or damage and discontinue use if damage occurs.

Keep away from pets — this is not a pet toy.

Compliance Documentation

Each Bumble Pea plush is supported by a Children's Product Certificate (CPC) based on third-party testing.

CPC documentation is available upon request to retailers, distributors, and regulatory authorities.

We want Bumble Pea and Koala Pear to remain soft, cuddly, and adventure-ready for years to come. Proper care will help preserve the fabric, stitching, shape, and character details that make each plush unique.

Cleaning

Plush toys should be spot cleaned whenever possible.

To clean:

• Use a soft cloth dampened with water and a small amount of mild soap.
• Gently clean the affected area without excessive rubbing.
• Remove any soap residue with a clean damp cloth.
• Allow the plush to air dry completely before returning to play or storage.

Important Care Guidelines

To help maintain the quality and longevity of your plush:

• Spot clean only.
• Do not machine wash.
• Do not submerge in water.
• Do not tumble dry.
• Do not iron.
• Do not dry clean.
• Keep away from direct heat sources.
• Avoid prolonged exposure to excessive moisture.

Storage

When not in use, store your plush in a clean, dry location away from direct sunlight, heat, and humidity. Proper storage will help preserve the plush's shape, fabric quality, and embroidered or felt details.

A Note About Character Details

Some plush toys include handcrafted character features, such as Bumble Pea's felt antennae. Gentle handling will help maintain these details and keep your plush looking its best for years of adventures.
